Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL)

What is EAL?

Equine-Assisted Learning is an individual or small group experiential approach that assists participants in developing meaningful life skills such as achieving personal growth, developing and improving communication, interpersonal and professional skills, team building and more!  Guided, safe, interactions are facilitated by our certified and credentialed treatment team which includes one or more horses participating in ground activities and exercises specifically tailored to the objectives of the group. (Inquire about gift certificates for sale, individual sessions starting at $100 per 60 minute session, groups starting at $50 pp (min. 4 people, time varies 90 -120 minute sessions).

Offered at no charge to military veterans and active duty service members, Comrades-in-Arms provides participants the opportunity to share experiences with their peers in a supportive, small group format supported by our Horses and Treatment Team. Focused on rebuilding trust and confidence, participants identify and tackle the challenges they encounter working to reintegrate into civilian life while experiencing the esprit de corps many express missing once separated from the military. These 90 minute workshops are FREE thanks to donors and grant funders to our V.E.T.S Scholarship Fund. They are offered on designated Saturdays throughout the year.
