Join other Military Veterans and civilians alike here at FAAAS and become a “Barn Buddy,” and work with our special needs horses in an atmosphere where we promote self-confidence, trust and teamwork! This project was the initial phase of a V.E.T.S. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program that will be opened in the Spring of 2018 to retired, honorably discharged, and/or actively serving military veterans too.
Along with creating a lifelong bond with our various animals, you’ll also have the opportunity to see how you can impact a rescue’s life. Learn how to groom, handle horses, understand the psychology of the horse, handle tack, and more; in an emotionally rewarding atmosphere that promotes confidence.
